Recap from the 1st Annual DunkXchange Los Angeles

20140531_152102 (800x450)People have been asking me questions lately about DunkXchanges, Sneaker Cons, Sneaker Expos, ect… Recently the team and I attended the 1st Annual Swap Meet DXC in Little Tokyo Los Angeles on May 31st.

This was a partnership event from Jason Markk, RIF Los Angeles, and Nice Kicks. It was a great event with great people and deals. I encourage people to go out and support these events for several reasons.

1. People ask me, “How do you get your sneaker connects?” This is a great opportunity for sneaker heads to go out and speak to other folks who share the same interest. I met some very cool peeps at several booths who had a ton of sneaker heat, very down to earth, and even found out we had some mutual friends.

2. You can find great sneaker steals and also sell your shoes without having to buy a booth. Several people walk around, holding sneaker boxes with their shoes on top to let you know they are for sale. Several friends have sold shoes quick and easy this way. The RIF booth had several crazy deals for attendees who came early.

3. Theres something there for everyone. There is art, food trucks, clothing, accessories, music with live DJs, and sometimes celebrities. Have fun, go out, and make you bring cash if your looking to spend. Cash is King!
