R.I.P. to Some Sneaker Bots

RIP to some sneaker bots…

Nike and several sneakerheads have been battling these “Early links,” Sneaker Bots and “Add to Cart” scripts for several months. Today was the day that the online Nike store hit customers with a surprise. Nike implemented a Quick Verification pop up screen before you were able checkout. The customers had to verify 4 different pictures in order to check out and add their “Infrared” Jordan 3s to their cart. Many people were cheering that this may help level the playing field while others with RSVP twitter bots say they still have it in the bag until Nike comes up with something else.
